Take Action! A Guide to Active Citizenship
Written by Marc and Craig Kielburger
This is a great book for young people who wants to make a difference. There are tips and ideas on how to write a petition, do a speech, formally talk on the phone, set up meetings, and way more. There are also tons of great fundraising ideas.
I don't have the book on me now, but when I do, I'll be sure to share a few interesting ideas it has.

I'm in the eleventh grade. This year, there is a new pilot course called "Citizenship in Action." It's lead by two of the few teachers who also leads Key Club. It's for students who wants to learn how they could make a difference. This is the book we use as a "textbook."
Some of our assignments includes writting letters with Amnesty International, preparing practice presentations/speeches on a topic we're passionate about, etc.
It's a pretty neat course.
